It IS interesting that even the traditionally female tasks like cooking are performed better by males. And as for female writers, none of them are good, and the only ones that are ever well-known get that way from killing themselves (Sylvia Plath). As true as your observation is, it's sometimes not polite to speak the truth. And note that the comments here by women are full of highly emotional personal attacks, rather than logical arguments. This is why it's so easy to pick out the female responses. The reason why things like bridges are created by men, is that female emotional hysteria is not a good character trait for an engineer. Nuf said.

Grow up.Why can't ppl just come over eras of darkness?!!We're definitely equals.we r all human beings.The comparison is completely based upon individual personalities,not gender at all.

Adding to ppl who disapproved above:
1.The 1st person to win The Nobel Prize twice was a woman.Have u heard of Marie Curie.
2.Women have been oppressed for ages,but even in the darkest hours,their names stood out in history as great contributors.
3.There were many inventions that were stolen from women as the public opinion refused this fact,e.g.:the ginning wheel was invented by Cathrine Green not Ellie Hoten.
4.Nowadays,after the women got some rights back.They do excel.Have u heard of Harry Potter series.
5.The nature of science and to somewhat literature now is the teamwork.I assure u these teams have women inside.

Why do you think so? Are men better in what way? Men are stronger, more brave or smarter? But this is not so. I myself have seen women with great achievements and then I realized that there is a balance, men can't live without women as women can't live without men. All we have is each other in this little corner of the Universe. They are our equals, they are us as we are them. Maybe you meat some women like you say but if you look harder you'll see that not women all are the same.

In a society where excellence and good is defined by competition, women tend to lose out because the rules are set by men. Men like to compete.

I am not so sure if the "best" still go to man if the rules changed to cooperation and ability to nurture.

It's just like there are things Women will be better at than Men. I don't think we're truly equal afterall our bodies go through completely different processes and we think differently than each other. I just think people need to cut the politically correct BS and just realize that Men can do things better than women while there are things Women are better at than Men. Just look at how the Male and Female body looks, each were obviously built to be able to do certain things better than the other.

The boys had turned down the thermostat in the house, causing the a/c unit to come on, and the end effect- it was blowing my white skirt up and I couldn't do anything about it, because my hands wouldn't go below my waist and they were held out too far from my body to hold my skirt down- in fact, I couldn't even touch my skirt! Then the dreadful thought entered into my mind- the north-bound traffic on Barataria could all see me handcuffed, helpless, and my skirt was blowing up, so everybody got a free peek of my panties that day. And to make matters worse, there was a traffic jam, so everybody got a good look at my behind in my pink panties.

Not true. The only reason is that traditionally men held the purse strings so that is how these guys made it so well. If women had had equal purchasing power,hadn't been considered property,and the same educational rights, things would have been different.

I'm a man and I think you're a complete sack of ****, I grew up in a single parent family with my mother and she's done more than I'd bet just about any man could do for my brother and I. You're the type of person that brings shame upon men, you're a shovenistic person, let me guess your dad bossed your mom around probably came home drunk and beat her, just like you probably plan to do. No no....there are amazing women writers, artists and actors but sexist male freaks have completely turned a blind eye to push their own interests forward. I recommend looking up the Guerrilla Girls website...very insightful and funny.
