Nobody has answered this question. I see a fair amount of "liberal" stereotyping going on. I'm farther left than the ladies room on the port side of the Titanic, and I assure you that I am not on TANF.
I think they certainly do have morals and care about people. However, it is a different constituency. Republican law makers give tax breaks to corporations and the very wealthy, which they were elected to do. That is their constituency. They are very moral people as well, but their morals are typically (note, "typically") based upon doctrines of Christianity and the Code of Hamurabi (eye for an eye, etc.).
Now, being very poor (I have thirty dollars budgeted to feed me for a month until my pay check gets here, I am going to be pan handling at relatives houses for a while this month.), atheist, and for the counter-culture movement, the Republican party does not fit my needs.
Now, if you are in a similar situation as me, obviously they do not fit your needs either. Tax cuts for the wealthy don't help very much if your wealthy boss fired you for "being late" when you tried reporting him to the IRS.
Now, if you are wealthy and Christian, quite obviously they meet your needs!

Don't worry your welfare check isn't in the mail. The money is being used to buy caskets for the soldiers dieing in Iraq. But hey, Cheney and Halliburton made a killing.
So did the company linked to Bush who got a no bid fire fighting contract in Iraq.
Since Bush cut the C.I.A's hunt for Bin Laden task force, Bush has plenty of money to write checks to everyone. Of course the rich will get theirs tax free.
The Bottom line is that Republicans have no morals. However they recognized during the Nixon campaign that by playing the Morals role they could grab the christian votes.
And you will find out that Republicans have the least amount of morals. Just turn on the news and your bound to hear about another nut case republican who got caught stealing or cheating the taxpayers.
ENRON the worst corporate scandel ever was done by republicans.
Newt Gingrich was divorced four times and served his last wife with divorce papers after she was still groggy from cancer surgery.
Rush Limbaugh had three divorces and now spends his days high on oxycotin.
The list goes on and on with these nutcase republicans. People need to understand that they play the role to con christians into their vote.
And now America is paying the price, LITERALLY. Iraq is in the hundred of billions. And yet Republicans want to screw Americans out of their social security.
SAVE AMERICA AND GET THE NUTCASE REPUBLICANS OUT.

Oh, I care what happens to people. I see the effects of the wonderful social programs that have been put into place. For example, the welfare system. I see all around me, everyday the effects this wonderful program has on people in my town. The majority of these people own nothing, have no ambition, and want everyone else to fix their problems. The inner cities are a perfect example of what will happen to our society if the country becomes a socialist (gov run) country. So, YES, I care very much for the citizens of this country. I think we are capable of much more than what I just described. But, we the people have to be willing to make the changes needed. I don't see that happening as enough people on both sides have bought into the social program theory.

Paying for votes by giving someone enough to live in poverty is not caring. It is what the liberals do. They were pro slavery before the Civil War (look it up), and they are pro slavery now. The only difference is the chains are a simple welfare check, and the only step'n and fetch'n you have to do to get it is vote Democrat, the Civil War's pro slavery party. Wake UP! Nobody gives you something for nothing! While welfare recipients are living in poverty the Kennedy compound is first class. Oh the Bush's have money too but they do not lie to you telling you that the GOVERNMENT (big brother) is there to help you. The government will never provide for you like you can provide for yourself. Do not buy into the lie that liberals care for you, the liberal voters do, but they are naive. The liberal politicians know the truth, but want to continue their life styles. They will complain about big business and make their money off of big government.

Why are liberals so narrow minded but talk about how open minded they think they are. People do care what happens to people and if people do not care then they obviously have something wrong with them. You are stero typing Republicans.
