Ive read that everything is just energy waves in space (including matter).

What are the implications of this?
Thanx for some openminded and creative thoughts.

Some was based on quotes from physicists:

John Wheeler: "There is nothing in the world except empty curved space" and "Matter, charge, electromagnetism and other fields are only manifestations of the curvature of space."

Einstein : 'Mass and energy are both but different manifestations of the same thing -- a somewhat unfamiliar conception for the average mind'.

Shroedinger:"We have to admit that our conception of material reality today is more wavering and uncertain than it has been for a long time. ... Physics stands at a grave crisis of ideas."

If mass and energy are essentially the same thing...then we should be able to covert mass into energy and back again. If this turns out to be true, and we can actually find a way to put it to use, it would be the greatest achievement of man. If mass and energy are the same thing....that means we would finally have a renewable, never-ending, clean fuel source. Think about the possibilities. We could clean up the Earth by using trash to power our cars, without burning it and polluting the Earth even more. We could provide power for everyone in the whole world, including countries that have never even seen something powered by electricity. Since mass is neither created or destroyed.....we would never run out of energy! Besides using this theory as an energy source, think of the other wonderful things that could come out of it. We could possible convert mass into energy, and beam it anywhere we wanted to, where it would be reassembled back to the original mass. That could mean people as well. But with great power comes great responsibility and is the human race ready for such power? Every major invention has been used as a weapon or part of one.

I have copied the answer from you and pasted here.

No one can give a correct answer other than these scientists.

From theitr answer I understand that the universe is space and energy.

There are two major dualities in our universe or mulitverse depending on which wannabe theory of everything you believe.

Matter-energy and space-time.

It would appear through experimentation that each is interchangeable with it's counter part. Fusion reactions for instance give us energy from mass lost during the reaction. Synchronization of two clocks has been done where one remained on earth and the other has gone into orbit. Orbiting the earth at very high speeds for several weeks caused the two to lose synch. Time dilation, the effect where time seems to slow down when spacial distance are traversed at high speeds, has been determined to be the cause for this.

So, yes, it would a appear that all matter is just a form of energy and that even time can be replaced by space.

This idea implies that we should be able to create matter from energy (ie. I would like a puppy but all I have is 1.5*10^17 Joules... not a problem for Puppy-o-matic 5000). Furthermore if one could manage to become pure energy (not so hard) and remain sentient and organized (very hard), you could travel the universe at the speed of light. Unfortunately, everyone you know would be long dead when you got back because of time dilation.

I would also like to point out that this does not give us a neverending energy supply. For once you've converted all the stuff you don't need into energy are you going to convert our homes and families too? Though i do admit it was take longer than the life of the universe to use up that much energy.
Hope this Helped a bit.

No. there is not any evolution in touch. yet is is a threat that God IS skill, not in any respect created and not in any respect destroyed. The Alpha and the Omega. therefore, even as God reported "enable there be mild!", that's amazingly a threat that that is the Biblical description of God freeing HIS own skill into the Universe , a non-clinical description of the great Bang. therefore, faith delivers us the answer that technological expertise has been looking for for decades -- what brought concerning the great Bang? How did something come from no longer something? Now all of us recognize: something (our universe) got here from something (God), a "being of sunshine" providing ALL skill each and every of the time (See Revelation financial ruin 21)

I am not real good at math. However, I keep thinking, if E=MCsquared, per Einstein, then isn't everthing just E going real slow? M would equal E/Csquared, right? At least in my naivete, that is what I keep coming up with for the answer.

Schroedinger makes me want to kill myself with his famous cat question but yes everything is empty space and energy..hence the search for the higgs scalar boson

in theory if two large hands could squeeze all the space out of the earth we would have a sphere about 1/2 mile in diameter..

Basically, yeah. When you touch something hard you aren't even really touching it, it's just the particles repelling each other.
