I would suggest you buy about four or five good brand bug bombs and bomb the heck out of the basement. Do it when no one is home, set the bombs off and close the basement door put a moist towel at the bottem edge of the door to keep the fog out of the main body of the house, take your pets with you and get out of the house for yourself for about 3 or 4 hours and let the bombs do their work. When you go back home open the basement door and any windows that may be attached to the basement and let it air out completely before you decide to habitat the room. A good shop vac and some paint can do wonders for a basement. How much furnature could one person need, a bed dresser or chest of drawers, tv, night stand, clock radio, see if your folks will let you take your current room furnature with you to the basement and make your sister furnish her own room. thats true, basement is more privacy, and call an exterminator. so you can look like a nice brother and give up your room, and with a little work turn the basement into a great place.

call orkin to get rid of the bug problem, then invest in furniture....the basement must be bigger than your current room and it has a lot more privacy as well good luck :)

Stay in your room. It is your room. Your sister is moving back in - she can take the vacant basement and deal with it.

Tell your parents you are mad that you never got a brain from either of them. If you cant decide yourself..then just sit in the basement and smother yourself in honey.
