Ofcourse! Without manufacturing, an economy cannot function. It provides the products and services that the consumers can use. It helps to create jobs for the unemployed. So the people increase their spending, thus improving the economy.

It is in Michigan which is one of the few states that is still suffering from jobs lost as manufacturing moved overseas and to other states.
