On TNT is it a movie or a series of like mini movies?

It is a mini series with 8 episodes by Stephen King.I watched both last night and I have to say the first one was very bizarre.No one spoke a word during the entire episode.The second was quite scary in that a young newly wed couple end up in deep trouble in a foreign country.Loved it though and will be watching the rest of them.

As I understand it, it is 8 episodes aired on Wednesdays, over 4 weeks. I noticed that they plan to air them again on Thursday nights just in case you miss them on Wednesday.
These are 8 different stories based on some Stephen King books. So far, I'm getting a Twilight Zone feel from watching them.

its a series that lasts 4 weeks but then they play 2 different ones every wednesday night
