Nazi's were given absolute power because the general public believed the propaganda used by the Nazi's. If we ever give the neo-con's, right wing or the religious fundamentalists absolute power which they are working to gain, we will be at their mercy and may well suffer the same fate as the Jewish, disabled, Gypsy, French, and people in Eastern Europe Russia in 1939-1945.
One thing is clearly the same, for sure, between the Nazi's of early 1930 and the neo-con's in America today, both are so sure of themselves that breaking arms and the law are easily justified in their minds.
This is what we are up against! Good Luck, and good night!

Ha, shows what you know about history.
1. Liberals are more racist than Conservatives. Notice how Mexico is a NATION and at the pace immigration is going, anybody can walk into the country with a bomb and do some serious damage. That's the only thing that has the right wing extremists so uppity, while the leftist extremists are just feigning compassion for people they are crippling.
2.Hitler did want a pure ARYAN race, You have no proof that conservatives do. I am conservative and have a mixed blood of three ethnicities, and a catholic. There are many more of my kind, and we are proof positive that that argument is bullsh*t.
3. In Hitler's economic policy of FASCISM, he owned everything, and everybody was poor. The Government took control of all the economy, which is the exact OPPOSITE goal of conservative economics.
4. Hitler's scare tactics meant SHOOTING and KILLING people. I, a U.S citizen, am not afraid of my government, and I know of no unjust SHOOTINGS or KILLINGS any conservative have used as a scare tactic.
5. Hitler was not slow in taking away freedoms. He took the civil rights of all the people of Germany and exchanged it for SECURITY, something the people freely accepted, considering the fact that THE DEPRESSION left them out cold.
6. Too many to count.

Get a life. You are toting a party line. I am conservative (whatever that means) and for one, don't hate minorities...actually I think liberals have more of a problem with minorities (look at the racist, Jessie Jackson. He thinks his own people are worthless & can't stand on their own two feet).
Regarding attacking a country, Hitler took over countries. Today we gave part of Iraq back to the Iraqis...
Dems are for BIG government which leads to Communism (if not checked). Repubs, if not checked leads to Anarchy...think before you speak.

This is inflammatory and not probative. More important, you cherry pick the information that helps you and forget the information that does not.
This is exactly what you find reprehensible with the conservatives in this country but will use it yourself when it is to your convenience. Stop being such an O'Reiley Factor copy cat.

Of course not. If you actually read Mein Kampf, you would know that it is all about conquering Poland and Russia and populating these areas with Germans instead of Slavs and Jews. I don't know of any modern day conservative who is actively working toward this goal(?!)
