It can happen, but it's unusual. If your doctor diagnosed it and treated it, and it's not getting better, then you should have it checked again. You may want to ask for a referral to a specialist.

Hello, I'm on the second week and seeing definite improvement on my yeast infection symptoms:
https://bitly.im/aMAjv
Note that: If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary. Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment.

If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment

I would take him back to the dr. It may be a food allergy. You have naturally occuring yeast on your body and sometimes it can get out of hand. If it is hot where you are chances are that that is causing his problem. Try Yo Baby yougurt. It is organic and doesn't have artifical stuff in it. This may help. Destin powder is really good stuff too. Just be careful he doesn't inhale too much of the powder dust.

My daughter had just gotten her first teeth in at that age, so solid foods were pretty simple. Some of the first things I gave her were scrambled eggs, squash (the frozen kind you microwave and heat up), boiled carrots, and banana. Also things like applesauce. I also used to cook broccoli and cauliflower and put in in the electric mini-chopper to break it down to a consistency my daughter could eat. You could do hot dog, but you would want to take the skin off and slice it, then cut each slice into 4 small pieces (quarter it). Pancakes may be something different for breakfast, as well as yogurt.

Yes - my doctor gave me an anti-fungal cream that worked really well and seemed to give him some relief. You can buy over the counter. Ask the pharmacist for a anti-fungal cream for diaper rash. (Nilstat is one brand)

yes, you cannot cross contaminate meaning, dont wash all areas with the same rag, use one for hands face etc, and where the yeast is, wash with separate rag, blow dry the yeast areas and apply the medication, being careful not to touch any other areas
