What do you like to search for and buy when you go hang out or shop in the mall? Please be real specific. I am thinking about selling affordable, cool stuff (clothing, accessories, gadgets, candies, cosmetics) aimed at teens.
Not necessarily brand name stuff, because that can get real expensive and I dont want to bankrupt the parents. No perverted stuff, either.

I always go to Claire's to get like earrings and lipgloss and stuff like that. I'm always looking for cheap screen tees to wear and cheap but nice looking purses

Well... I'm a 15 year old girl from Houston, Texas and I think your best bet would be to open an accessory shop where you could also maybe sell some shoes and a very small selections of unique t-shirts. But, when I go to the mall it's mainly to buy accessories and shoes. Because most people already have their own selection of stores where they buy most of their clothes and others just want brand named clothes. So accessories would be good. Just remember keep it unique.

-Screen Tees With Adorable Sayings are must haves.
-Tank tops are huge, but thats a hard market to get into because they come in about every color and are really cheap.
-Slip or shoes with no ties, laces, velcrow, etc.
-Zip up sweatshirts. they have to be lightweight and comfortable.
- Scented Candles are nice. Expecially when they have origional, but not nasty aromas. Personally I like Cucumber Melon and Fresh Linen scents.
- I like little kids hair clips to hold your hair back. There just are not enough of those out there.
- Jeans are big. No matter what!
- I like flowy skirts, but they are kind of last seasons.
-T-Shirts with cool patterns.
Note: A good idea is to check out your local mall and look around. Go into stores and look at what they are selling.

well im only 12 but i love make up and clothes i think shopping is the best thing on earth. i like to hang out with my friends but i go shopping too. don't make your clothing store or store in the mall its a waste of money. i know alot of people go there but what happens with all the people who don't i know i only go there about 3-5 times a year but that is all. i would rent a small building in an outlet mall if you have any of those around your location make your name or building visible to the eye don't make so colorful that people get blind looking at it but it should have some color.

I would say...
~Fingernail Polish (I can never find the right color to fit my mood so have a huge selection)
~T-shirts with funny sayings (nothing bad thats kinda getting old)
~high top tennis shoes are huge for boys and girls, and if you had some with like graffiti or said things on them that would be awsome.
~odd ball ear rings and belly rings, jewlery you wouldn't find anywhere name brand
~Locker stuff, magnets from movies, anything catchy and fun (happy bunny is a big thing for this)
~Posters, movie posters, band posters
~belts are BIG, keep them very different, have a big varity and don't keep any style too long
~don't mess with cds, everybody just downloads or buys off the enternet now
~room stuff, lights, pillows with sayings
~cell phone stuff, you can't go wrong with that, bling, charms, cell phone holders, its all so cute

I look for stylish accesories like glittery stuff, clothes that have stripes with sayings on them, and big huge chunky shoes, not to mention my stylish dog chokers ( in all different colors!!!) And I get a lot of black!! Hope I helped you out bud

I like to look for some nice clothes. My taste being sort of tight jeans or a nice, oh whats it called... a sheer top, i think it is. i also like to look for things for my iPod, e.g. a case, iTunes gift card, earphones, etc. I also, being a girl, like to look for some make-up, not a lot, but like some mascara or something. Uh, if i think of more stuff, i'll let you know. I hope my few suggestions helped a little bit.

hey well i love to shop and because there isnt really any thing fun for me and my friends to go do we just go to the mal. well we look for diffrent stuff not the same clothes everyone eles is wearing. like the clothes in vouge and on the runway but w/ out all the cost. we really look for super cute slic chic clothes

what about all those fake jewels teen girls put on their cell phones, chicks like big dangly ear rings. teens do favor after brand names... just look at major teen brands like american eagle, abercrombie, hollister, etc... get on their website see what kind of stuff they are selling and follow suit... or innovate something they dont have
