Must conservatism be subdued in order to save the environment and the human race?

Global warming is a fact only the ignorant and blindly greedy deny. Pollution is spoiling the natural beauty of this world. Over-consumption by a ballooning population is eliminating species on land and in the sea. Fossil fuel consumption is driving pollution and global warming. Yet conservatives are clearly the pawn of the oil industry, which outright owns the Republican party in America, and stand in opposition to rational population control programs, such as condom usage and planned parenthood.

Can these vital problems be solved, the planet healed and humanity saved without first getting conservatives out of power in all nations?

The fact of the matter is that Republicans are not the only problem. Everyone is at fault. You are at fault if you drive a car everyday instead of taking public transportation. You are at fault if you heat and cool your house using gas. You are at fault if you don't recycle. You are at fault if you overconsume at all. Yes, those who are in power and also hold a lot of stock in oil are holding us back, but the entire culture needs a reformation. The "one car per person" mantra has gotten completely out of control. Every single person who can drive does not need to have a car (aka teenagers don't need to get a car for their 16th birthday, etc). It all comes from the "I shop, therefore I exist" culture that the U.S. exists in.

No one has ever had any proof that pollution or so called greenhouse gases are causing The warming trend you and the rest of the leftist nuts out there refer to as GLOBAL WARMING (Ohhhhhh noooooo the sky is falling).Insted of rehashing everything you have been infected with through liberal propaganda mabye you could just try to use your own brain and do a little unbiased research.It is in fact the liberals who have made the cost of energy so high while they have been so concened with protecting theses so called endangered plants and animals that have restricted use from our own resouces we have here on our own continant.Nuclear power has been proven time and again to be safe and very productive with little waste but the liberals have thwarted it time and again.
Here is a novel idea for population control,stop screwing everything that stands still longer than 5 mins.There is alot that can be said for some self control.Mabye if we had it your way we could just let everyone screw each other and pass out morning after pills with coffee at the local starbucks.
