I live alone.....except for the spiders, and they know enough to run when i come in the door.
So i guess my answer is a "no".

That would imply that there is someone at home waiting for me, not everyone can be so lucky, when i get home I'm greeted with silents, and after a long day that can the best greeting ever, no worries or stress just Peace and quiet, now that is relaxing.

Absolutely! I have 6 cats, and usually 3 or 4 of them run to the door to meet me when I get home. The others wander in after the initial rush.

Well I am always the greeter(stay at home mom), the only time I am a greetee, is when I stay over at a girlfriends, which only happens a couple times a year. But yes, it makes me feel loved when my kids are running to me with open arms telling me they missed me.

From my many pets I do.I get them from all sides wanting to give their sloppy kisses or to have them jumping into my arms.I love coming home to Sebastian,Mr.Kitty Kat and Little Bit my three cats.I also love Sasha,Sheba and Chichi my three dogs.

usually i do, it depends on how much of a jerk i'm being at the time. for some reason though, the neighbors dogs that bark at everyone run when they see me coming.

yes, my cats usually wake up and miaow at me. If my boyfriend is home before me he will shout "Hey gorgeous" and come and find me for a kiss.

i give a friendly greeting when i get home to my cats. i say hello, pet them, and give them hugs & kisses.
