hey kat s, this is a good question! i go to ray's barbershop, and get a $5 man's haircut. it's hard to find a real barbershop anymore. i usually go when my family starts complaining that i need a haircut. once i went 8 years without a haircut, and my wife and daughter would braid my hair like willie nelson, but i have a little less hair now.

I get my hair cut every 3 weeks. I pay $15 including tip. It's a little haircut place that's owned by one person. The owner actually cuts my hair.

I get mine cut every 4 to 6 weeks and pay between $15 and $20 including tip, depending on if I just get it cut or have it cut and styled. It looks a lot like my avatar.

about 6 - 8 weeks. I was paying 14, but there were no reservation, you got who you got, and half the time I would hear that the one I really liked had moved on. the last time I got my hair cut, I got the name of a stylist from a coworker, and she did a fantastic job - I paid 22 but it was so worth it!
I cut my hubby's, daughter's, son's, one grandson's, and 4 coworkers' hair. (no do not have training, it just works for some reason, it is natural talent.

My hair is cut every few weeks.
And it doesn't cost me anything (except for whatever electricity i use).
A couple years ago i bought one of those "home barber" kits.....and that's all i've used ever since.
It's great if you like to keep your hair really short, as i do.....although it can be a bit tricky to do the back side with only two hands.
But.....i am *not* going to recommend this to you, because i know a lady has higher standards in the hair department (and, apparently, a deeper pocketbook.....!).

I get mine done every 6 months and pay £50 for it. I am trying to grow it and it is so slow to grow that my hairdresser advised not cutting it more often than that, or it would never grow at all!

I usually trim it myself every few weeks. Due to afew bad experiences I haven't wanted to go to a hairdresser but finally did this week. It has been a couple years. I went to a First Choice which charged like $12 and I love it. I will go atleast once every couple of months for that price and service.
