Always make sure to catch the ball. No matter what kind of hit you know is coming catch the ball and take the hit. Because if you drop the ball and avoid the hit you will never see the field, but if you catch it, get slammed and even if you drop it your coach will tell that you want to play and there is nothing you can do about that.

Most important tip for a wide out. Run the right route because if you don't the quaterback will be confuse. The ball might get inter. because you were suppose to be there and you were not. Also the ball will not come to you if you run a different route.

Don't show the defensive player where you're going before the play with your eyes. You should already know where you're going to go, always watch the ball into your hands even if it's and easy catch.

Sell your first move. Never take on the defender. Get open, and always watch the QB for trouble. The best receivers are the ones that can break their route and get open for a QB in trouble.

get off the ball (releases off of press)
be fluid (breaks in routes should be smooth, not a lot of choppy steps(
make all routes look similar (confuses the hell out of dbs if done right)
Catch the ball and secure it, duh
YAC, yards after catch

stick to the route and as a FB I can't say enough for a WR who learns how to block i know thats not even in the top five things for a receiver to learn but it does help.

probaly is vision, you need to be aware of the first down, out of bounds and touchdown line or else you just be catching passes then getting them knocked out.
