My opinion: Dems. The Republicans have more fight in their blood & understand what it takes to deal with these guys. In my humble opinion I think most Dems (except Zel Miller) are spineless & don't lead well. Actually I think most Dems are very dangerous for the country because they don't show proper respect for their leader (yes many Reps showed Pres. Clinton inappropriate respect too). Now we have a bunch of school kids growing up thinking it is good to disrespect all authority....thanks Dems.

They probably want a war, and the best people to give a war to them would be the Republicans. Although, that was an interesting article in Times about the end of cowboy politics- even the Bush Inc. has learned they can't just go around spreading freedom. That's a stupid crusade just like an Islamic Jihad. It only leads to further suffering because the people of the country generally democratically put in violent Islamic governments.

My guess they want Republicans....as the Repubs continue to start wars and invade other countries sovereignty and as they continue to not court world opinion or cooperation from the world, these terorists have a strawman upon which to focus all that is wrong this world --in short, its much easier to hate and blame the US for everything wrong when Repubs are running it....

I think they'd like to see a Democrat in charge, We saw how our previous president handled terrorists. I don't believe he left any shaking in their boots.
