For the American League most people will pick the Tigers but because of their young pitching staff they may falter the second half of the season. This could leave the door open for the second place team in the AL east, namely either Boston or New York. As for the Nationl League it will most likely come down to the Arizona Diamondbacks and Cincinati Reds making the push. Unless there are major deals done, the wildcards will most likely be the Reds and Yankees.

In the American League it will be either Detroit or Chicago. Boston and New York are a few games behind them. The west is even furher behind. As it stands New York would be out of the play offs,
