Why do the extremist Muslims target Israel?

Is it because of religion (as if I had to ask )? Does the rest of the Middle East just want to destroy Israel? and why?

Muslims do not want non-Muslims in the Middle East. They do not recognize the rights of non-Muslims to exist.

Why? Because it's the most intolerant religion on the planet.

Religion is just the excuse. Jews lived in that area for over a hundred years pretty peacefully with Muslims. Then in 1948 the UN because of the great number killed by Hitler decide to give the Jews their own land and they did. Israel is a sovereign nation formed by UN charter. Unfortunatly the area was not as deserted as the UN thought it was and there has been fighting there ever since.

Why militant muslims crashed the planes in the WTC I really have no idea. The UN building would have been a much more appropriate target. After all the UN did create Israel.

As has been pointed out - Israel has been re-created mainly by the British after WWII - after several hundred years of non existence. The main problem, however, started, when Israel was not satisfied with the region assigned to them and started invading other territories of Palestine, like the Gaza Strip and the Golan Heights, they also disregarded UN resolutions that made Jerusalem a neutral city.

So several decades of being oppressed in their own country created this hateful scenario and formed what some label terrorist cells, which the Palestinians see as liberation cells.....

I guess you could call it religious reasons, because their land got taken away based on scriptures of a religion they do not believe in.....

IN my humble opinion: It has nothing to do with religion. It has to do with historical events that began in 1948. The Jews (primarily Zionists) wanted their own homeland and the country was given to them without considering the people who already lived there. An Exodus of many Jews from all over the world began to immigrate to the region. Much blood was shed and lives destroyed. Many villages such as Dier Yasin were completely destroyed and Palestinians were ripped out of their homeland to make way for the new state of Israel. But as a side note, Muslims do not have any qualms with Jews, it is with Zionists who believe the right of the state of Israel to exist supersedes the rights of the indigenous people of the land INCLUDING Palestinian Jews.

Please take the time to find out how the middle east came to be this way. Peace was possible 30 years ago but several parties including Israeal stirred trouble.

The history culture of people in this region of the world is complex and very different to western culture.

no longer in basic terms uk is a aim, yet even muslim international places that are themselves from this extremists. This all and sundry is extremists as a results of fact of their perspectives, that's clearly diverts from customary human beings. Turkey, Jordan and a bunch of muslim international places has been bombed via this human beings. the concern with uk is that the government needs to maintain a tab on those people who're from center East and Pakistan, and arrest those clerics who pontificate extremism.

Because after WWII the world became PC in the extreme and out of their own guilt GAVE the Palestinian homeland away to strangers of another faith. The sad thing is that the Palestinians are generally despised by the rest of the Arab and Muslim world for the lowlife scum they are and the rest of the world FOUND A WAY to unite them in a joint cause....wiping out Jews. Because the country of Isreal didnt exist for many many years, then we helped them create isreal in 1948 after the war and all of the death camps in germany and poland. the land had been palestine before which is muslim, and they got tossed out of their land, which at some point in biblical history was isreal. now they fight over who is the rightful owner of a hunk of useless dry land. I wouldnt think they would want it at all, however theres a lot of land in arizona, newmexico and nevada they can have if they can figure out how to move it.

Yes the religion. They wanna monopolize the worshipping of God. Actually im not even sure if they're worshipping the same God as the Christians have come to know. Why are they being so oppressive anyway? Israelis are peaceful people they are just fighting in self defense.
