I was attempting to remove tan spots on an off-white crocheted tablecloth using shout and tide. Resulted in some sporatic areas turning more white than others. How can I make the color more uniform?

depending on the type of yarn, you can brew a pot of water and add some tea bags to even the color out. Wait until it is barely warm, dunk your table cloth in and stir it around. Dont let it sit in too long. It will give you an antique, even color.

This is going to sound nuts, but this is what you do. Make a weak cup of tea and dip the off color spot in it and let it dry.It will even out the color.
