How do you feel about Israel's actions of late? Do you see them as the aggressor in the bombings of Gaza and now Beirut?

Do you think Israel's actions show that they believe the life of a few Israeli soldiers are more important than the lives of many innocent civilians?

EZE - I asked how you feel about it...I didn't associate American Jews with their actions. It's a question not an accusation.

Why is everything anti-semitic, and why are Jewish people so defensive?

I think it's very unfair to associate American Jews with Israeli actions. That borders on the anti-Semitic.

That said, I am mainly ok with how Israel is responding. I don't see them as the aggressor, as their soldiers were attacked on Israeli soil by Hamas and Hezbollah militants first. And I think that when one considers the security realities for Israel, they need to protect their soldiers, who are drafted from the general population and are as innocent as any civilians. If American soldiers were kidnapped, the American military would respond with more brutality and it would be reported less in the media.
