My husband doesn't really like to kiss. He does every so often and when we do it, it's more or less on the lips and quick. He says, my lips are like a swamp.

He was this way since I known him. But also do you have a suggestion on how to get him to kiss more? Thanks!

No, he just thinks my lips are too moist. I have wiped them off already before I kissed him and he still wipes his lips every so often! He is not a germ phobic, I know that.

Yes, in the bedroom, he does give me more small short kisses on the lips, but I would like it more. Oh well, I guess...I'll live with it. I just wondered if there was something that I could do.

I don't think that you can make a kisser out of someone who does not like to kiss. Whatever his reason, he doesn't like it. If all else is well in your relationship then I would simply accept it and not worry about it. You knew it before you married him, so why do you want to change that now?????

Okay, so this is something I'll try to answer.

When he says your lips are like a swamp; ask him at that moment the following:

1. What does he mean by a swamp?
2. What could you do with your lips to make them more
appealing and Kissable?
3. Let him know "why" you are asking these questions.

Let him know that you enjoy his kiss and want to experience that closeness more.

Good Luck.

You may have tried this already but it doesn't help to try again. Talk to him. Tell him that you like to be kissed, that it excites you and that he is the only man you want to kiss. Ask him to practice kissing with you. Ask him what he likes or doesn't like. Open mouth, closed mouth, tounges touching, etc. Ask him where you should put your hands when you kiss. Do this when you are both relaxed and comfortable and there are no distractions. Just the two of you. And if it doesn't work out the way you want it to, then try talking about it again some time later.

Why would you marry a man, if you knew he didnt like the way you kiss, and how crass is he for saying your lips are like a swamp? I tell you men are just plain stupid! And I am a man, but would never tell you that. Kissing is like making love, both are passionate, and sharing, and without one, you cannot enjoy the other.
Forget him! find me! I could care less, plus I love wet sloppy kisses all over!
Short of that, there are books to read to better your kissing style..go find them

well i dont know if that is normal but some people jut prefer not to kiss. if he said thaqt your lip is like a swamp than its either to moist or because lips s a place that is touch by alot of things and he might be scared ogf germ, bacteria, etc.

You might ask him if he is uncomfortable kissing you. If he doesnt like kissing you, then does he really like being with you? If you love him and you love each other and are married, then don't you think its ok to show affection by kissing? If he doesn't want to kiss you, maybe he doesn't love you, or maybe he just doesnt like the way you kiss. But if he truly loved you, dont you think he would kiss you no matter how badly you kiss.(just hypothetically speaking, dont know if u kiss good or not, dont wanna know)

Hmm...I've never come across a person that didn't like to kiss. But if he says your lips are lick a swamp, try not licking them before you kiss.

What does he mean your lips are like a swamp? I'm missing something. Whatever he meant, I'm sure its not too nice to say to someone you love

awwe that hurts when your loved one will not show this type of affection.
first off no sloppy kisses, you dont need dry lips but if they are soaking wet ewwwww....
other than that he has a phobia. germs or something. asking for more info other than swampy, let him know how it makes you feel.
