cause he has 10 years of playing ahead of him (god willing) and he can still do great things. he has shown strenght and committment.he helped Barca get out of the gully. that was a great accomplishment!!! period

Zidane is not a good answer... He is clearly better than RonaldMcNaldo... He proved it head to head in two World Cup games! Ronaldo is a has been. He had some great years and WC 2006 was a nice farewell party for him but the party is over... The next best one would have to be a younger guy that has a bright future... I am going to say Frank Ribery from France... Like a much younger Ronaldo, Ribery was fun to watch!

Ronaldo is the best but since I think he will retire and I have to pick the next best player I would have to say Wayne Rooney. He plays hard, he is fast, he has a good shot, and he can make things happen.
