This happened last year during or honeymoon. You know all that paint friends like to decorate your car with as you whisk yourselves off into the sunset? Yeah... it got stuck on our windows. Three carwashes in a row didn't get all of it off, and being on our honeymoon we were limited. We tried plain, "new" sponges, but didn't know they were harsh. Long story kinda short, my beautiful rav4 is covered in random scratches all over. :( I've spoken with "glass experts" but they say it's hopeless. No solvents, no goo, no rub in stuff exists to help. I think they just want my $$ for replacement glass.

Please, any ideas??

Problem is the pros are liable for "quick fixes" and can be sued if they compromise the function of the glass and a person chooses to be vindictive and employ a lawyer to sue them after a glass injury in an accident....

You can buy glass buffing products and try doing it yourself - just go easy on it - the less you do the better.

I have heard that toothpaste is a good remedy (I have also heard it will help scratched cd's), but have no personal experience with it. I do know however, that almost any auto parts store carries glass polish, that more than likely, will remove the majority, if not all of the scratches. If not at least you tried before spending big bucks on glass replacement.
