Not the dark per se... but be awakened in the middle of the night and need to get out of the house because of a fire or other emergency and tripping on something trying to escape... so I have a lot of night lights and accent lights that I leave on... which will probably be the cause of the fire! Argh! Maybe the flames will illuminate my path! Can't win for losing!

Yes, sometimes dark can be frightening, because one never knows what may happen. Sometimes I feel presences near me. Also if I'm outside and alone. Sometimes I'm afraid of the dark too, and I'm 26.

No not really but if i see a horror movie then i know the light is gonna be on when i sleep. Nothing to be afraid off just close your eyes and open them for a second look around your room youll find everything familiar close your eyez again and go to sleep. It works for me when eva dark bothers me.

No. That's ridiculous. There's nothing different about the room you're in when it's dark than when it's light. It's just your imagination running wild.

Seriously; when's the last time you heard on the news: "Man attacked and killed by a mysterious monster that came out when his bedroom was dark."

It just doesn't happen.

Fear of the dark is illogical and nonsense. Hopefully you'll outgrow it by the time you're in your late 20s.

Mildly, I have no trouble sleeping in the dark, but I get nervous walking around in the dark (even if its my own house), and its not falling over I'm worried about, I just imagine people sneaking up on me (I'm 23).

yes, I never walk around the house in the dark. If I need the bathroom at night I take my mobile phone with me and switch the light on.
