Iran is absolutely, positively behind it. Hamas and Hezbollah don't make a move without marching orders from Iran.

The best guess right now is that Iran is using those terrorist organizations to distract from their growing nuclear weapons program, especially with the upcoming summit to discuss such.

Iran has got to be playing a role behind the scenes. Back in the '80s, they were at war with Iraq - but now with Iraq out of the picture, the only country in the Middle East with a military big enough to challenge Iran is Israel - so if they can incite countries to attack Israel, and eventually leave to the distruction of Israel, they will be the only power in the Middle East (not counting the US in Iraq) and can have all the influence that goes along with it (read: manipulate oil prices and continue the spread of radical islam).

100%. Hezbollah is funded, trained, and armed by Iran. That airport Israel blew up today was a tactical hit, to disable the ability of Iran flying in supplies to Hezbollah. Iran is doing this to divert attention from its nuclear ambitions.
