Is the E Coli in your vagina or in your urinary tract? Either way, seek an opinion from another doctor. You will probably have to have another round of a stronger antibiotic.
In order to prevent this from happening again, be sure to urinate before and immediately after intercourse. Also, do not have vaginal intercourse after anal intercourse without changing condoms first. Be sure to wipe from front to back after you use the restroom. All of these things can cut your risk of this type of infection.
An E Coli infection of this type can be dangerous if not cured. I once had a UTI with E Coli infection for almost a year. The only symptom I had was smelly urine, so I didn't go to the doctor. At my yearly checkup, they check my urine, and I had over 10,000 units of E Coli in my urine sample. They immediately put me on Bactrim. I told them that I didn't want to take an anitbiotic because I didn't feel bad. They told me that I did feel very bad, I just didn't know it. They were right. My energy was doubled after the antibiotics. The infection was slowly draining my energy, I just hadn't noticed it.

There are many antibiotics out there that work against E. coli. I would really get on your doctor about it before the E. coli travels up your urinary tract. I ended up with E. coli in my kidney once but I never even knew I had a UTI or anything. Ciprofloxacin is what I was given when the E.coli reached my kidney...this was also in a hospital through an IV though, so it was a lot stronger than the pill version. Either way...talk to your doctor and get a second opinion if needed. If it gets to your kidneys...it's bad, trust me....my doctor told me I would've died if I waited another couple hours to go to the ER.
E. coli can get into your urinary tract in many ways...always be sure to wipe front to back never back to front....and never go from any form of anal sex straight to vaginal sex without washing first...that includes toys and fingers...
Good luck.

Most people should know what it is contaminated with I think it is your choice whether you eat it or not. There are a lot of vegetarians out there and some of the reasons why is because of what certain types of animal products like ground turkey can do to you There are some grocery stores that take their products seriously and make sure that they are not contaminated, but yes I would take it seriously Btw I am a vegetarian, but I do eat fish.. I find that the safest of all animal products

If your doctor hasn't explained any of this to you, you need a new doc. Docs are people too, and you need to treat them like, hey if you don't do your job, you're fired. Not all doctors are created equally. It is very important that you have a doctor that you can talk to with this situation you are having. Plus, if he doesn't know what else to do, you need someone else who does.

I'm sorry, but you get E Coli from eating spoiled food and human waste! So what, did you shove a log up there, or something?
