At first I was going to say split 3 ways but then again, she's not getting her own accomodations. She is sharing the same room he is already paying rent for. Although, she does still have access to the remainder of the apartment as well. I think she should definately pay 1/3 of the utilities and something towards rent but maybe not a completely even share. Maybe the couple should foot 60% of the rent and 2/3 of the utilities ?? My best compromise anyway. Maybe they should find their own place and you should get a new roommate ?? Must feel kind of wierd living as a single man in an apartment with a married couple.

If she has her own room or starts taking over parts of the apartment as hers (the living room, etc) without her hubbies presence she should pay rent and utilities. If she only hangs out in the apartment with hubby, then she should be allowed to pay only utilities. And if she puts out for you, she can live there for free j/k.

Split everything 3 ways -- rent, utilities, etc. They pay 2/3, and you pay 1/3. It's only fair!

You need a new contract.... If your friend has broken the one you have. Maybe they should move out... or... they can pay more rent and split the utilities 3 ways.

3 people, three ways. Rent and utilities. Other wise you are helping to support his wife. Do you want to do that? I wouldn't.

they are now one as they say on that beloved day. so if this is so you can ask them to pay 75% of everything and you are responsible for just 25% they will take up 3/4 the space ans be there 3/4 the time so this is fair.her moving in is only bad for you and you need some incentive.

If there are three people living in one apartment, the rent should split three ways. Unless, of course, he discussed it with you beforehand, and you agreed that she should live there rent-free.
