Everyone "picks" their nose to remove excess mucus that has built up and dried, most often blocking the nasal cavity. Anyone who says they don't, is a liar. It's an unavoidable thing, and at one point in your life, you're going to have a clogged nose that no matter how many times you blow your nose, you won't be able to breathe.
