Why did he take the man's spirit??? I am confused... okay. Who is the man? Why did a doll happen to take the man's spirit & become an evil, rampaging doll? And why does Chucky seem so real? Like he has blood & everything... Also, where does this chanting stuff come from in Child's Play when he chants trying to take the lil boy's body in the factory? Was the man a witch before he died?

Lol. Maybe it was the second "Child's Play" when the boy is adopted or something & tries to convince the family that the doll is evil & when the girl (his foster sister) sees it, she sure believes it & blah, blah blah...

His name was Charles Lee Ray and he made a promise that he will get revenge on the ones that 'done him in' and found a Good Guy doll to exchange his soul whispered a Voodoo incantation in the name of 'Damballah Wedo' (a west African, and Haitian Snake God), lighting struck the toy shop and the police found Ray dead- Nope Wrong.
In comes along little Andy Barclay he whines about wanting the latest craze - a good guy doll! unfortunately Karen Barclay (Hicks) buys the 'special' doll at cheapo bargain from a Homeless Guy. And ratty Auntie Maggie (Peterson) gets it, and takes a dive from the forty storey building and then it is Eddie's turn to be shish kabab in a exploding House!
Well anyways i loved this movie! lol watched it thousands of times hope this helps you out!

It is Charles Lee Ray and the actor that does the voice of Chucky also plays Charles Lee Ray in the original Chucky movie "Child's Play".
