depends on your commitment level and your intention on your career progressment... if you are just thinking of getting a normal bookkeeping job, LCCI would be sufficient... but if you are thinking of further advancement, ACCA would be a better choice...

however, with no account foundation, ACCA may be quite difficult to catch up, thus, great determination is definitely required... if you are willing to spend more time on studying, i would suggest that you go for LCCI first, followed by ACCA... a LCCI certificate can exempt you from the level 1 of ACCA...

LCCI should be good for a start, quite a no. of people pursue ACCA after getting their degree in accountancy so they can get a CPA status. I think u need to have a certain accounting background to go for ACCA.
