Lebanon crossed the border and kidnapped soldiers on Israel's soil, so they struck first. They have also fired over 70 rockets into Israeli territory, which some claim are supplied by the Iranian Military.
Israel looks like the bad guy, but they are reacting, not acting. They're defending themselves and trying to save the lives of the kidnapped hostages. There's no such thing as excessive retaliation, THEY DIDN'T START IT!

Hezbollah militia in Lebanon 'started it' by kidnapping 2 Israeli soldiers and killing three others. However Israel were the first to start chucking bombs/missiles/rockets at infrastructure. The official Lebanese millitary didn't start anything - all they've done so far is direct some anti-aircraft fire against the Israeli planes that were trying to bomb them, which is probably a fair response.

It started when Hizbola terrorists supported by Lebanon kidnapped 2 Israeli soldiers.This has not been going on forever and it has a deep and bloody history.This whole thing is about Muslim nations refusing to recognize Israel as a country.

and lebanon did what it did to exchange hostages

What is terrorism? The bombing of large civil areas isn't? According the Geneva Convention soldiers are considered military target.
I think Hezbollah has committed a war action, and Israel overreacted killing civilians.
