well the fact that your asking this question, the person that explained this to you didn't explain it well. People over time have learned to seperate their body from their hearts. So that when they "share their body", their emotions are involved. They are trying to avoid getting hurt or being put in a emotional entanglement. It is very possible to be with different people all over the world and not feel anything. Most of theose people are called hookers....I am joking! But it is very possible. Not everyone feels their way through intimacy. It's called just what it is: Sex.

If you don't know the difference then you have probably never "made Love" to anyone. You are just having sex. When you make love it is the most amazing thing the two of you become one and it feels totally different. Someday you will find that special someone. Anybody can have sex with you and make you enjoy it. It takes somebody who loves you and you love totally and completely to make love to you. Good luck

Having sex and making love can both contain deep emotions for the different, yet extra regularly than no longer, making love is extra intimate. a guy and a woman who meet in a bar, who really recognize one yet another have sex, even as a guy and a woman who recognize and take care of the different make love.

having sex:
strictly from behind or some other non-face to face position. For gratification purposes only. No long term investment, no future. not emotionally satisfying only physical.
It is possible to share yourself with someone with no attachments.

making love:
face to face most of the time. Verbalization of love. Consideration. Patience.
Usually happens in committed relationship. Future expectation of that relationship. Emotionally and physically satisfying.

Having sex is just that, having sex with no emotions or feelings of attachment to your partner. Making love is having sex with someone with whom you are in love with.
