I am 22 years old and I watch adult swim (on cartoon network, they have the edgey cartoons unappropriate for children) at night. But I can't stand my daughters cartoons. I was just curious how many adults watch cartoons. Please only adults. I know that teens watch cartoons, even if they won't admit it.

I love adult swim, I've been watching it for yrs. I watch it every night when I'm going to sleep. I have all the Aqua Teen Hunger Force DVD's and the Brak show on DVD.
I love Robot Chicken, Moral Orel, Tom goes to the Mayor, Family Guy (ofcourse) The Oblongs, Minoriteam, and Venture Bros. oh and Mission Hill, and The Boondocks....ect (it's all good)
I don't really like when they play stupid stuff like Saved By The Bell and Pee Wee's Playhouse. However I understand it's part of their weirdness.

I'm 40 and I grew up on Bugs Bunny cartoons. I have a blue collar job and sometimes in situational conversations a line or an event in a cartoon will pop up. My co-workers are about my age and have grown up with the same common memories. It creates a commodore from sharing a fond memory of simpler days gone by.
The cartoons of today, especially pokemon' and yu' gi' oh' were made for one reason...merchandising. The cartoons were created to sell those card games, and cereal. They have no soul.

i'm on the oldies facet too! (and that i'm purely 14!!) i love 60s and 70s cartoons! they're the superb! Scooby Doo, The Jetsons, The Flinstones, red Panther, etc! the superb :) 90s cartoons are sweeet too :D present day cartoons (not 90s...90s cartoons were impressive. i advise 2000s) somewhat do suck. :( they're in basic terms stupid and properly...they're in basic terms not an similar :( also keep in recommendations Spongebob all started 1999 so as that counts as an oldie ;) and Mine is Scooby Doo, the position Are You! I watch it each nighttime at 8 ;) i'm quite a lot obsessed :D

Well, I'm almost an adult (17) so I'll say this...
Our culture's been inundated with cartoons for a while. Adults who, as children, watched cartoons will grow up watching them, although the content changes.
And, yes, I do watch them. Spongebob, Adult Swim, etc.

Nope not really into cartoons. My 10 year son watches adult swim.... He thinks it funny. I saw a few that was a meatball or something it was dumb but I laughed a few times. Had to ask what it was. Aqua Team I saw. A fry and a shake......
Family guy is kinda funny. The kids have wore me out watching cartoons tho...

I watch cartoons all the time. And I don't limit myself to simply adult cartoons. I watch everything from The Simpsons to Rocko's Modern Life to South Park to The Fairly Oddparents. Never liked the squared-pant one, though...

I am older than you and I like animation. I don't call them cartoons because I think that implies they are for kids. I like most of the stuff on cartoon network adult swim, but not much of the japanese monster dueling kid stuff.
