Okay. So I think season 5 was the worst yet. The plot wasn't as intense as the other 4 plus...they killed off my favorite character. I know that's what 24 for is all about, but that just sucked...Tony was the best....

And Edgar.

But still, think about the past seasons. They said all along that they do that to stay fresh. You can't have any character (other than Jack obviously) that the fans KNOW won't be killed, or else suspenseful scenes...won't be. Edgar, Tony, Mason, Chappelle, Michelle, Palmer, Sherri, and best of all, Nina. The show is great.

Killing off Tony to me wasn't as sad, because Michelle was already dead. He hated his life before he got Michelle back, and he would have hated it after she died. They didn't use the silent clock like they do with all the other deaths because I think a they meant for it to be a minor character in that season. He was barely in any episodes, and he didn't really play any role in the story.

I thought season 5 was a little ridiculous, but it was still great, just like the rest. It's the only show that I NEVER know what's going to happen, only that Jack will win in the end.

Tony was really cool, but I don't think that the writers made his death seem that dramatic because of the lack of a silent clock at the end. I thought that Edgar's death was a lot more dramatic and had a bigger effect.

I thought it was a great season. But, I was sad when they killed off Tony. I was even more upset when they killed off Edgar.
