Well, the astronaut brings a ray gun to the fight, first incinerating the caveman's weapon - a human leg bone - and then vaporizing the caveman.
Game, set, and match, to the astronaut.

didnt angel and spike have this same argument . what was the out come with their argument
i would say it really didnt matter because the cave man and the astronaut will never get in a fight .cave men were out of comission long before we had astronuauts.
but if u want my though i think the cave man would win cuz yes an astonaut has a better education and can out on a suit to go into space but he never had to kill for survival so he does not have the animal instinct the kill or be killed attitude.

cave man .he is used to a lot more hardship and his body would be much tougher.
and his muscles would be far more developed.
on a similar note ,they discovered a grave of a famous athlete of Athens ,the bones were perfectly preserved
from this and the marks where the muscles were attached ,they were able to reconstruct the body on the computer to its most infinite details ,
they then simulated athletic events on the computer with this information against one of the top athletes of today
the long jump, discus ,javelin throw, and today's athlete did not come near his ancient college, who was better developed ,better trained ,and far stronger.
a cave man would be even stronger and bigger ,having to fight cave bears and sable tooth tigers and such ,as well as running and trekking all over the place.
the astronaut would only be able to win if he had modern weapons and the cave man did not get a chance to brain him with his slingshot or club first.

The cave guy has to attend till the Gun runs out of bullet. Wait you stated he had a gun in basic terms, you probably did no longer say it replaced into loaded. Any way the cave guy will win cuz he has his club and he doesnt could desire to reload. via the way i by no skill observed an astronaut carry weapons. And what they hell an astronaut doin with cave guy, are they battling over some chicks??

Astronaut suits are very, very fragile (more than you might think), so if the air was unsuitable for an average human -- the caveman would definitely overcome his opponent. =)
Otherwise... um, how big and armed is this caveman, anyway?
