Just remember that when you're involved with a Taurus, you're involved with a sensualist, a nature lover, an indulger and a money lover. When you're involved with a Leo, you're involved with a superstar, a leader, an achiever and a chief-of-staff.
If you can give a Taurus security, beauty, nature and pleasure you have a better chance of getting their love and affection. If you can give a Leo sincere admiration and applause then you have a better chance of getting their love and affection.

For each of you, the force of habit is strong. More than likely, you're both determined, purposeful and persistent. This relationship is a test of wills. Neither one of you is easily pushed, pulled or pressured. Once you commit to each other, this relationship can become steady, stable and a powerhouse. Stand firm on the conviction that you are working to overcome inertia together.

Taurus likes to touch nice things, own nice things, wear nice things, eat nice things and have nice things. For Taurus touch or the physical world is real and gives comfort. In fact, "I Have" is something of a philosophy for Taurus. At heart, Leo is practically perfect. The ancients have said that Leo is entitled to the Lion's share of fun. Leo needs to roar with pride, both on center stage and in the bedroom.

Essentially, Taurus needs to be assured that everything's O.K., safe and secure. Once that's taken care of Taurus is ready for gracious living. That is to say, Taurus need some good food, antique furniture and passionate sex. To win points, Taurus can treat Leo to a most excellent piece of gold jewelry. Leo also appreciates Taurus's undivided attention.

By developing willpower, Leo can find creative ways to get into the spotlight and shine. Leo may be playing the game of life stakes higher than Taurus may realize. It is important that Taurus acquire some mastery over the physical, practical and earthly world. Then, paradoxically, Taurus must learn to let go. Taurus will only find security by acquiring a sense of self that is separate from possessions. Actually, it's not so much about what you possess Taurus, but about not being in "survival jeopardy."

well, speaking from personal experience, i'm a leo and was married to two taureans (luckily, not simultaneously). it worked out in both cases rather well for a fairly long time, each time. (but, seriously folks), its important when considering astrological ramifications, to know the total charts, and their connections for both parties. it's an area that requires definite expertise for the reading, especially in a serious area like compatability for a significant relationship, etc. it might be best to speak with friends to get suggestions on "who to see" to discuss this if you have a "serious" relationship in mind. if its just a scholarly, research, curiosity, thing, there are a lot of good books on the subject. good luck.

I don't believe in astrology enough for it to determine my boyfriends/life partner but Taurus isn't the ideal sign for Leo. It's Aries, but I find it hard to get along with Aries people because they're very tempermental.

Taurus may not be able to help falling in love with Leo, as the Leo's strength, warmth, generosity and bearing is very impressive. Leo is a great admirer of the Taurean's ability to handle the finances, and an admirer of his/her effortless sophistication. Because these two admire each other so much, an infatuation may begin when these two get acquainted; perhaps leading them into marriage.
Taurus may get the feeling that Leo is too sure of his/her standing, and often takes the Taurean for granted, as well as exhibiting all of the Leo's overbearing, demanding, and dogmatic ways. Some of their battles could be epic in proportion. Either sign is capable of making a good living, and if the male is Leo, then he will expect his lover to stay home, rather than have a career. This would not sit well with most Taureans.
Taurus may feel that Leo should do something to cultivate emotional compatibility. Leo often shows a lack of concern for Taurus' feelings or emotional needs, and this attitude is carried over into the bedroom, where Leo could meet with the cold shoulder, as Taurus has declared war on him/her causing a lot of distress to this highly sexed fire sign. To achieve even a modicum of peace and harmony, they must strive to keep their sexual activities alive and well

Leo In Relationships
Personal charm and physical magnetism make you the center of attention, which of course is very much to your satisfaction... An ardent lover, your enthusiasm and passion must be returned in equal measure, or you may become bored and dissatisfied with your wimpy partner. A weak partner invites you to completely dominate the scene, a situation which is less than ideal for both parties. In every case you need to keep your ego under control, even when surrounded by admirers and sycophants.
Leo, a masculine sign, is self-sufficient, confident and tends to bravado. Most of you fabulous cats have a positive attitude to love and sex, but there are those among you who suffer excruciating pangs of anxiety in relationship. Why, you ask? Well, simply put, it is fear that the reality may not live up to the unduly grandiose image that you seek to present to the world. Sexual anxiety may become so intense in some cases as to generate frigidity or impotence. So in a relationship, Leo loves to be the central, pivotal point around which all things revolve. A romantic and a dreamer, you make your dreams come true because you have strength, determination and a blithe faith in yourself - a faith which can overcome obstacles with that characteristic ease which seems so remarkable to more introverted souls.
Some Leo's can find themselves clinging to bad relationships or mistaken beliefs, because their egos simply will not allow them to admit to being wrong. However, such typical tenacity becomes an asset when shown as loyalty to friends, or as patience and determination to succeed.
Leo's emblem is the noble Lion. This dignified king of the jungle symbolises the regal disposition of the Leo personality. However, standing on your pride when insulted or abused, you rarely forget a slight (unless of course your detractors sincerely, humbly and grovellingly crave forgiveness, whereupon you may magnanimously deign to pardon the miserable creatures). It must, moreover, be said that you are quite forthright in your opinions, which themselves need have no close relationship with the facts - and you certainly like to have the last word in any discussion.
In the art of lovemaking, Leo is ardent and willing, although not necessarily particularly creative. Your performance is usually considered by you to be generally excellent, but a worthy partner (who has a little more slyness and cunning than you would ever stoop to) can improve the quality and variety of your lovelife by smoothly introducing new ideas without seeming to ruffle your pride.

Taurus In Relationships
Taurus, the feminine (yin) sheath of Venus, is attractive and magnetic. Taureans have personal magnetism and are able to draw others into their circle, rather than actively seeking them out. In other words, while they are very fond of members of the opposite sex, they prefer to be courted. Taurus is straight-forward and down-to-earth in sexual matters.
A no-nonsense approach is favored and too much verbalizing, or complex fantasizing is not really Taurus's thing. Music or other forms of sensual, non-verbal expression will strike a chord in the Taurean nature.
Faithful friends (and dedicated enemies), Taureans prefer long-lasting relationships and seek to build strong alliances, although they can be misled by their sensual natures, especially when young. Taurus however will grow more stable and discriminating as time goes on, for the Taurean character is naturally inclined to permanence and the satisfaction of a job well done.
Like the Bull, Taurus is slow to anger, then briefly furious before returning to a state of preferred placidity. A lot happens below the surface with Taurus.
Friends can be quite surprised by sudden changes of heart which have actually been bubbling down there for longer than anyone could have suspected!

Compatibility is not based on sun signs. It's based on Synastry. See the CafeAstrology link in my profile for more info.
