Tell her to stay mostly neutral. She should get a few friends she thinks she can trust but then be prepared to get stabbed in the back at any moment. People say mean things and do mean things in middle school. She just needs to hang tough and stick it out. Don't take it personally. The people who are the meanest are the ones who have the worst self-esteem issues. She shouldn't let them put that burden on her shoulders, too.

The "school" part, i.e. the traditional classroom learning stuff, is not that big a deal.
The bigger deal is all the physical and mental changes you go through during the period. Its all the social stuff, going through puberty, wanting to belong, forming social groups, etc that is the stressful stuff.

It really depends on the setup... whether the middle school is part of the high school, etc. But you may want to make sure she can spell.

It depends on how well u study.
If u study regularly and play as well, it's not gonna be a problem. Even if u have got problems, there are people to help you!

tell her to try. i know, my sister has been through it already. try her hardest, and be sure to have a few close friends, because she'll need them, it's hard. if you give up, you'll never get through it with a smile on your face, but if you want to do good, you will do good.
