Where to put my tattoo?

i want to have a tattoo but i dont know where to put it.. i respect my parents and i dont want it to show to much iam hesitating on either my forearm or my calf do you have any other places

I would get it on you ankle bc no one whould look there thats were i put mine and im still live at home

i think a cool place for a guy to have a tattoo is upper back, off to the side, down on one of his shoulders. that way, u can show it off when u go shirtless or wear a tank top, but u wont have to hear it all the time from your parents when u choose to wear short sleeves. And for some reason, i think calf tattoos look totally trashy, on guys or girls..dont get it there. just be sure u really want one before u get it cause if u havent thought about is seriously u may regret it later.

I got my first tatoo last year, I too took a long time to decide on where to put it, I didnt want the normal, tatoo on my ankle or my breast like most women do. I also realized that this thing is forever and do I really want to see it everytime I look at my reflection, so I decided to put it on my back above my shoulder blade, that way if I want it to show I just wear a shirt low cut in the back, and if your a man and you want to look sexy, just take off your shirt. I'd put it on a shoulder (either front, back..) IF you put it on the back tho, just remember, YOU can't see it.. I've got 'em all over (I've 35 of 'em, man) and what bugs me now is, like I said, I can't see **** of course, on the ones on my back/shoulders, man.. It's the only way.. Of course, (RU a chick? I don't know) it's a chick thing kinda, but I like 'em on the upper back, between the shoulder blades, man. I've got a sun and moon, couple stars on the sides right there.. I've got a killer yellow summer top w/an oval 'cut out' right there that the tats show though.. killer, man. (too bad U don't want 'em to show.. U might change your mind on that.) The most painful one I had was on my goddamned ankle.. the best ones were my breast (who knows why?) and the fleshier parts of my legs (calves..the upper legs.) Tats are the koolest! I don't wanna die (cuz I can't see my tats then.()

Depends on what the tattoo will be and how big it is. The tattoo needs to be an image or idea that is important to you, you will have it a looong time. If not, you might have to figure out later how to get rid of it, or cover it with a different tattoo.
Once you know what it will be, it might be easier to decide where it should be. Be sure to go to a reputable tattoo shop. You might go discuss it with them first, they might be able to help you decide, or have suggestions you might not have thought of.

If you must tattoo... consider somewhere that is discreet... that can be shown if you desire, without being overly provocative.

How about the center of your upper back? Easily seen when wearing a tee-shirt or at the beach...covered with more professional attire.

Well, I have 6. I can hide them if I need to and no one at work knows i have them. I have one on my bicep, lower back, ankle, top of foot, calf, and shoulder. Depends on the design where you want it.

My parents don't want me to get a tattoo when I grow up. I prolly won't, but if I did I would get a small heart on my toe. I may be weird, but I think it would be cute. Ummm..... well, since ur a guy u prolly don't wanna tattoo on ur toe. Get a lil one on ur arm. That's hott.

I currently have 5 and if you really dont want it to show your ankle is easier to hide, and so is your back at the bottom. If you dont want it to be seen by anyone?? Dont get one..
