Not necessarily a gift from someone or something, but rather a gift in general.

If so, do you believe that people who don't appreciate life, do not deserve life?

I thought about this after watching a certain movie.

Perhaps it's a gift, although sometimes it seams like a curse. I like to think that it is like a test, everyday is a new test, if you work hard, life turns in to a gift, if not and spend it on false human happiness(sweats, drugs, laziness) your life becomes a curse, and everyday you fail the test. And no I don't think it's up to us to decide whether a person who doesn't appreciate life should have no life, because sometimes people change and start to appreciate life for what it is.

Life I believe is a gift. If two people didnt meet you wouldnt be here there for you were made for some reason, you may never know why. everyone is here to make someone smile or cry. a gift is something you give or recieve. are you a giver or taker? I think everything that happens is a gift , good or bad. small things for example if your pumping gas and go to pay for it and the cashier says its been paid for is it a gift or a mistake by another person. or if your driving in your car and someone hits you and you have serious injurys for the rest of your time here do you say why me and get all depressed or angry or do you look at the situation and say my life could have ended i wouldnt be able to see the sky people i love. life is what you make it . for those that dontappreciate life may never appreciate it but maybe a smile or a simple wave will change them or maybe there here to make someone else appreciate life. so to say they dont deserve to live is taken part of life away. without that person hating everything or just in general not respecting life you wouldnt question yourself or life. life is a gift any way you look at it your only here for a short time so why dwell on little things. i think everyone appreciates life in different ways just the matter of seeing there way. Live day to day moment for moment . lifes what you make of it. the more you say hi or thanks or please or just smile at someone the more life you will have if only for the moment but at least for that moment you will have hopefully made someone else appreciate that same moment

Life is a parking meter and my time out here on the street is about to expire. Really has little or nothing to do with "deserve,"
but rather more to do with taking life as it comes in a random, unconcerned manner and turning it around to be a spiritual walk with the unseen creator. It will be whatever you have at the end of the day and no two people are going to experience this quite like you do. So drop in your quarter and take a deep breath and enjoy the next twenty years before the meter runs out.

It depends on the person and on the day. Some days it's a gift and other days it's a cruel joke!

For the most part, I enjoy and appreciate life. It's the bad days that define your character.

As far as people who don't appreciate life not deserving life, I'm not qualified to make that call. They day that I can resurrect the dead will be the day I make that determination.

I strongly believe life is a gift, and here is why. My son was born with a heart defect and was given a 5% chance to live, and if he did, there would be long term delays in growth and mental abilities. That was almost eight years ago and he is just as happy and big as his twin brother, not to mention smart as heck. Every day i spend with him is one more day i may not have had.

as for the people who dont appreciate life, they need to realize that there are more important things in this world and many things to look forward to.

the laughter of a child(yours or someone else's)

the love of someone

the friendships that can be made

and always remember, no matter how bad you have it, there is always someone worse off than you

Yes, I view life as a gift.

No, I don't think that just because someone doesn't appreciate life, they don't deserve to live. How or what someone does with that gift is their own choice.

Yes I do view life as a gift and I don't think that people who don't believe that life is gift don't deserve life. I just think they have not found their purpose or call to realize how precious and amazing life is. Stay blessed!!!

I'm curious which movie it is...

I guess life is a gift. It certainly is a page on which we write. I won't say a blank page because where, when and the circumstances under which we are born (poverty, silver spoon, race) affect our lives in so many ways.

I don't think any of us has enough knowledge to say who does or does not deserve life.

Life is a gift

People who don't appreciate life are yet to realize the value of this 'gift'

So, they should not be in a hurry to end their lives. Its like rejecting a gift without seeing whats inside

Life is a chance of a life time for any creation as he/she or it can experience what this world is made up of and try to improve his social and spirtual aspect in life just as school has different grades and classes just the same way or life has different stages and we have to go theough every stage to find out what life is really all about.

Life is a blessing for all creation on this planet
