On Internet Explorer, go to Tools, Internet Options, General, Delete Cookies, Delete Files, Clear History. On Yahoo, click the yellow pencil, click on Clear Recent Searches. There's others, too, depending on your Internet Service Provider. You can also use Disk Cleanup. Go to Start Menu, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Disk Cleanup.

It depends on the brownser you are using. I'm going to assume it's IE. With IE loaded, go to Tools on the menu bar then go to Internet Options. When the window pops up, towards the bottom under the section "History" click on the "Clear History" button. For the cookies, under the section "Temporaty Internet Files" click on the "Delete Cookies" button.

Go to Tools menu in your internet explorer browser.
Click on Internet Options.
Under the Temporary Internet files, click "delete cookies".
(you may also want to click "delete files" after this)
After that, click "clear history".

go to webroot.com and download the trail version of Window Washer. It clears your history from IE, your registry, and your temp files and cookies. It even deletes your recycling bin for you.
