Americans have the right to believe whatever they choose. The question was well phrased. There are an equal number of racist in all walks of life. I am Caucasian and have been slammed and jumped by other races in high school because of it. I am not a racist or a bigot but I have been called Honky, gringo, cracker, and other various terms I will not mention. The answer however is Human nature.

Not all Americans are racist. I'm an American, and I'm not racist at all. I mean, Americans are probably less racist than some other countries because we've always had a gigantic confluence of cultures in the country, so most people have learned to live together, regardless of race.
Still, of course, there are racists in America, but there are racists everywhere

If America had a cultural identity all it's own your own question would be considered racist in that it generalises the entire population of America.
Total contradiction in terms if you ask me.
Not all Americans are racist and it is my opinion that it should be equally offensive to everyone that whenever something happens the automatic reaction of a vast number of people is to play the race card.
Playing the race card when it is unwarranted perpetuates the very thing that you're complaining about.

your question is kind of racist..why assume that all americans are intolerant?...we just have the ability to say what we want when we want..you don't have to agree with it..i don't agree with many things people say(especially our media)..but guess what? THEY HAVE THAT RIGHT!!! people can say nice things, bad things racist things, peopel can lie and put it on TV...it what makes out country great....if im not mistaken in most other countries when you do that you get killed or are never seen again..you may have a point historically...america as a country tend to kill or severly damage things they are afraid of, mexicans, native americans,africans,japanese,chinese,...irish folks ..but thats not really racism thats just fear and trying to control the people that built this country

The racists are right. The racists have always been right. The truth just keeps coming back, forever and ever, simply because it is the truth.

Your question is racist because it assumes that everyone in America is racist. Stereotyping is wrong -- even when you do it.

Believe me, the only thing that counts in America is MONEY. It's not the color of your skin, your religion, or your ethnic group, it's how much MONEY you have and how much you are willing to spend. That's the real America.
