I discovered I was in the final stage where the cells would turn cancerous. Cervical cancer progresses over time and can be discovered through a pap smear. The doctor will then perform additional tests to confirm diagnosis. Also, FYI, it has now been confirmed that Cervical cancer is mostly caused by the HPV virus most of us women unknowingly had acquired - very common. All women are at risk, all ages. Check out web sites on line for HPV, there's a lot of info to be found. And, if you suspect you have lesions or are actually seeing differences in these areas, please get it checked out right away! Can't be good.

Lastly, I can't tell you how upset I was when I heard the diagnosis, but I will tell you getting myself checked out saved my life! Good luck.
