It is disgusting to know that helpaneed has answered Paranthewali gali is in Central Delhi! My God. I am living in Delhi for more than 20 years and as far as I know its in Old Delhi. Chandni Chowk to be precise.
You can reach there most easily either through Old Delhi Railway Station side or through Red Fort side. From both sides you need to walk about 1.5-2kms. You can also take rickshaw to ferry you there. It wont charge you more than Rs.10.
The landmark to reach 'Paranthe Wali Gali' is to ask for 'Ram Chand Kishan Chand Saree Store'. Even though Paranthe Wali Gali is itself a legendary landmark.

Parathhewalli galli is in Chandni chowk - old Delhi. A kilometer away on the perpendicular main road leading from the famous RED Fort. BTW 'Parathhe' is rolled out roti or bread in oil. staple diet of Punjabis.This dish is served here. Small kiosk have sepia colored snaps of our earlier PM Nehru Indira etc dining here.

It is in Paharganj, Delhi - a Central Delhi area close to Connaught Place and New Delhi Railway station.
It is spelled as Paranthewali Gali
Sorry my mistake, it is indeed in Chandni Chowk
