i am 16 years old and i've been here in san francisco just a couple months ago...and i don't have any friends yet...i'm planning tostudy at james logan high school..how can i make friends in school?need some help please....

Lol da message about being slutie and a cheerleader was kinna funny. But, on a serious Tip, keep in mind that when you start school, everybody will be new. Even the people who have been in your new city all their lives don't know everyone so just be friendly and speak up every now and again. Let people know you are actually there and please be yourself. For the 1st few days it will be a lil hard but ull b st8 just dont become sumone ur not. Good luck .

My advice is to seek out school clubs or groups that interest you. Drama? Cheerleading? Maybe just try to introduce yourself to a lone girl (groups are intimidating) and strike up conversations about things to do in S.F., movies you've seen, would like to see, books you've read, favorite mall, etc. Always smile at people and don't feel shy. Everyone was new at school one time or other.

go up to them and talk to them. say hi, your name, and tell them that your new in town, and then try to start a conversation. a good one is to comment on an accessory, or maybe a team logo. if they ignore you, then trsut me, they must not be very nice. just be yourself and keep a good repitition so then ppl have no reason not to like you. and if they dont and youve done nothing, then thats their problem.

Don't let anyone intimidate you!
If they don't like who you are, they can move on.
Just don't come across as desperate and clingy...
Very annoying.
Hold your head up high and others will want to be around you, this I know for sure :-)
