For like 3 years, I've had a crush on a guy that is 2 year younger than me. I'm 20 and he is 18. I heard that he and his friend "make fun of me because I like racing and I'm a girl" I think he knows that I like him... why would he make fun of me? ALSO please answer... I am on the brink of asking him to go with me to a race because I know he'd have fun. Should I still ask him to a race? I don't know if he's making fun of me because he likes me or really doesn't... I do NOT want to make an *** of myself by asking, then giving him ANOTHER thing to joke about me. Really like him, just don't understand how that is funny or why my name would be brought up randomly. Why waste time talking about me if he really didn't think highly of me?

If you are on friendly terms and talk to him I'd engage him in a conversation and find out without getting into a big argument, why he thinks it's funny for a girl to like racing, if he likes racing, if he has ever been to a race, if he hasn't would he ever want to . If he responds favorably to those questions, then I'd go ahead and ask him to go. Keep the conversation light and friendly. If you get all bothered by his answers, you will give him something else to laugh about.

Races can be expensive. Don't ask a loser who won't appreciate it. Take a person who shares your excitement for the sport. Have fun.

ask him to answer this question seriously "Do you like racing and would you want to go to a race"? then if he says yes, then take him to a race. If not try to find another sport that u and he have in commen.
