Colleen, rest assured, I pray every night when I go to bed, and my prayers are always for the sick, the needy and downtrodden, the homeless, our people in the military. I will be more than glad to put in extra prayers for the kids tonight. I lost my wife to cancer three years ago, come October. I lost the wife I had before her in 1987 to cancer.

Lord Jesus, I lift up to you now the need in these, Your children. Bless them with your healing and comforting hand. Let them know of Your presence and Your desire for them. Surround their entire families with an understanding of Your will in their circumstance. And let the praises of your Name stream from their mouths of Your glorious love and mighty work toward them. Where they have stumbled in their walk with you, strengthen their faith and purpose in the Spirit. Where they do not have a relationship with You, let Your Spirit be with them constantly to remind them where they belong and to encourage them in Your will. Visit peace and healing upon their bodies, for Your Glory, Amen.
