do i have to wear waterproof mascara so it wont smudge of, or is wearing a normal one okay?

and another thing: i have blond hair and greenish-gray eyes, so should i wear black or like silver and brown mascara?

Wear waterproof. As far as black or brown, I would say black. I have blond hair and blue-green-grey eyes and that's what I wear- it's more dramatic than brown.

I use mascara rarely. However i sweat alot at work, b/c i work in a warehouse and there is no a/c and today i actually used mascara and its not waterproof and it didnt smudge. Maybe it depends on wich ones u buy.(quality, etc.) i dont usually wear it so im not sure.

but as for the color of the mascara. if your daring and love to play around with makeup , try anything i say. However, with greenish gray eyes i would pair up a brown mascara. I think Silver would be way too much . Ive actually only seen silver mascara on drag queens lol and in crazy makeup ads so im not sure. Just play around and find out what you like and if it doesnt make you look creepy, trashy or horrific, then why not go for it :)

You don't have to wear waterproof mascara, unless you're planning on swimming. I use Max Factor 2000 Calorie; it doesn't smudge when I get hot, and it's got a great brush. It gives you that full, fanned-lash look, without looking really thick. Also, I have green eyes and reddish-blond hair, and I use brown/black. It's just a little more subtle than blackest black, so if you're going more for the natural look then this is what you want. Also, try a shimmery, blue/purple eyeshadow with your green eyes; it really brings out the color. Please, God, don't go for the silver mascara! That sounds scary!

Its much better to wear waterproof mascara than normal in water cuz the waterproof ones have been tested in water and i guess they didn't smudge. As for the normal ones, they often smudge.

Also, I read in Glow magazine that brown eye liner or mascara looks good with green eyes! Try it.

You should go with the brown since you are originally blond. Coz the black would be too drastic.
I like waterproof better in the summer so if you sweat your makeup wont look smudgy but it is a pain in the butt to remove.
You should just experiment and ask people what they think. Make sure they are honest :)

You don't need water-proof mascara. It's really hard to wash off. The color of mascara you should wear doesn't just depend on your eye color it also depends on your skin tone as well. Judging by your eye color, I would be more prone to saying the black would make the green in your eyes stick out.

brown is good for green eyes.
but black works for everything..


and waterproof mascara isnt going to hurt.
but non-waterproof does an alright job in not smudging unless u are continuosly rubbing your eyes.

Normal is fine if you buy a good mascara, I use Mary Kay ultimate mascara and does not smug at all.
Black brown should look good on you

Black waterproof mascara will be perfect for you. Do not ware it to heavy or you will look like a witch.

i have the same eyes and hair color and i think that the black works best! and the waterproof doesn't really make a difference i use the lash stylist by mabelline and it seems to work fine for me..
