FYI = A singer named Kate Smith used to sing "God Bless America" at the end of sports broadcasts. That's where the saying came from. Ms Smith was "robust" to put it politely, and her voice was even bigger, stronger than she was physically.

I did I was in a restraunt in Ny and this fat lady got up and belted out Opera. the restraunt owner turned up the music well it was static to make her shut up it was horrible.
