It sounds like to me that you are married and you have a best friend who just happens to be a guy and you two are not speaking to one another. Well, I don't understand why your husband isn't your best friend and what does your husband say about all this? Maybe it's time you start looking to make new friends with someone else before you put yourself and your marriage on the line. Let this other guy move on with his life and let him find what he is looking for without you. Sometimes when you care about someone, the best way to show them is to let them grow on their own and let them live their own lives and we have to be strong to let them go. He deserves to find happiness with someone who can love him fully, don't you think?

You can have friends of the opposite sex, that's fine. If he truly is your friend, and you love him as much as you claim, then you need to be honest with him and let him know what's going on. The silent-treatment is very lame! You really ought not to pursue a romantic relationship with him though. Afterall, you are still married. Although you did marry at a rather young age, so you may not have known what you truly wanted out of life. Get marriage counselling. You need to figure out if you should carry on with your marriage or get a divorce. This will probably be best for all.
