I looked them up and I think they are fungus gnats, they don't do much damage but are annoying! They don't tell me how to get rid of them, what do I do?

Fungus gnats are usually an indication of over-watered soils. Allow your plants to dry out for several days, this will kill off any larvae living in the top layer of soil. The adults lay their eggs in the moist soil, so if the soil is dry, they cannot lay their eggs.

You can also set out sticky cards to attract the adults. Sticky cards are just that, cards that are sticky, like fly paper. This may not be attractive, but you can cut them into smaller pieces so they won't be too eye catching.

These are the best non-chemical controls. Hopefully the problem isn't so bad that you have to go to chemical control.

I would remove the plant from the pot, discard all of the soil into a sealed container, wash and bleach the pots, dry thoroughly. Gently rinse roots of the plant to remove all contaminated soil.
Put new fresh soil in pot and replant. Fungus knats did a moist envirinment to reproduce. They lay theri eggs in the top portion on the soil. Do not overwater your plants. You should check your other plats for knats, too. If this is too much work, you can always buy one of those toxic sprays and spray them. You may have to spray several tines as the eggs keep hatching. Personally, I don't care to use toxic sprays in the house or on anything I have in the house. Excuse my typos. Good luck.

They ARE fungus gnats. The best way to get rid of them is to spray a soap and water mixture onto the soil. Castille soap is probably your best option. Also, if it is possible for your plants, don't water as much.

Mix a little dish soap and water in a spray bottle. spray the plants. The soap will smother the bugs.
