i forgot to ask the doctor this so dont tell me to ask my doctor..is it ok to drink alcohol while on birth control..like the pill..im on alesse..is it ok?

yes! alcohal does not affect the pill. Its ok to drink (within reason) as much as you want while on the pill.
however, remember that any Antibiotic will! so if you have strep or a infection of some sort, use a condom.
and be warnd that alcohal lowers your blood pressure, n if you have your period at the time, drinking exsesively might make your periiod worse.

That I know of there are no interactions between birth control and alcohol. BUT... Its not always a good idea to be sleeping with someone while intoxicated. First, you are not as able to make educated decisions about who you are sleeping with when you are drunk, I would hate to wake up next to someone that I couldnt stand. Secondly, just because you are on BC doesnt mean that you are being protected from STDs. Your best bet is going to be to use a condom along with your pill. Its better to be safe than sorry. And lastly, while many people think that having a few drinks "loosens you up" alcohol actually makes sex WORSE. Its a downer and limits blood flow to areas that need the blood flow in order to have great sex. I would opt for less drinking and a much better time in bed.

yes, alcohol will not affect the potency or affect of the birth control.
The only downfall would be if you have or have had high blood pressure, the two together might make your blood pressure skyrocket if you have had a history of it.
LOL... and one more thing, alcohol might make you forget to take it, then it could be a huge issue..
Your more than likely fine to enjoy some drinks while taking the pill...

It's just fine. There would be those little stickers all over the case if it wasnt.
Smoking on the other hand is dangerous while on the pill!

YES ITS FINE!!!! I was on the pill for about 7 years and drank all the time no problem.

alcohol is fine with birth control, the only time you have to really worry about alcohol is with pain pills,anti inflammatory, sedatives, and such along that line.
