At one year old, your baby should have a MAXIMUM of 24 ounces of whole cows milk every day. Any more than that can cause an iron deficiency. If he doesn't want that much in one day, you don't have to give him that much. Basically he needs between 12 to 24 ounces in one day.

I give my boys milk (in a sippy cup) with all three meals, and they get their milk requirements that way. Between meals, they get water.

Well..since every baby is different, there is no "schedule" that someone can set for your baby, but here is what I did..

Breakfast
Snack (healthy)
Lunch
Snack (healthy)
Dinner

Milk given 4-5 times a day. Are you Breastfeeding? IF so, as often as he wants. IFNOT, I would say 4-5 times. My son is 2 and gets 3-4 6 oz milks a day (goats milk) and basically eats whenever he wants...and I always left a "snack" type of food (cheerios, Kix, cut up fruit, etc.)on a table that he could get to along with a sippy cup of water.
And since he doesn't wake at night, a bottle before bed...6-8 oz or whatever he will take...don't force it....

HTH

A 12 month old will eat when and how much he/she wants to.

My daughter eats a vareity of foods - hot dogs (cut up of course), crackers, mac and cheese, chicken (her absolute favorite), spaghetti, ice cream, pudding. . . She tells us what she likes and doesn't like. And we feed her until she is done. She will stop eating when she is full, and we go by that. Sometimes, she will eat like a horse (in a matter of speaking of a 12 month old eating), and days where she'll eat hardly anything. She drinks whole milk - 8 ounces with each meal, plus 8 more ounces in the mid morning, and 8 ounces in mid afternoon. We give her a bottle of water before bedtime, just to give her some down time before bed.

You're doctor will tell you that as long as your kid is gaining weight, you are doing fine feeding him/her. We go by that. I used to have the same worries, but I feel good after hearing the horror stories about my friends that have the picky eaters. I may have a kid that eats light at times, but she eats just about anything we give her. I like that.

P.S. The Gerber Toddler meals and foods are the best!! We give our daughter some of those meals, and the foods and she loves them. They are quick and easy if we are having something for supper that is a little advanced for her to eat yet. And the snacks are great for them to sit in the high chair and eat - crackers, puffs, and cut up fruit. They all are the best! We use those a lot.

It depends on the baby. I have 3 kids and they all ate different amounts at that age. My oldest was still only drinking 4 oz of formula at 12 months old, and pretty much weaned herself off the bottle at that time. My middle child was drinking 8oz of formula when he was only 3 months old and by 12 months old was drinking so much formula we could hardly keep it in stock.
My 3rd child was I guess average. And would only drink like 3-4 8oz bottles a day by 12 months old, but eating a lot of solid food. The only thing to suggest is keep it available to your baby, if they want it, they will drink it, if not they won't. And as far as solid food, again, offer it to them at regular meal times. If they eat it, good, if not, offer the bottle.

Well, you should start weaning off a bottle at this age so you should be giving more solids and less bottle (preferably just at naps/bedtime and only if necessary...maybe 6-8 ounces) But otherwise with solids you can feed like you feed yourself really. (obviously not portion sizes) but breakfast, a mid morning snack, lunch, mid afternoon snack, dinner and a bottle before bed.

you feed the baby at normal meal times and 4-5 bottles a day
and healthy snacks between meals don`t worry about if baby doesn`t drink all the milk the baby will eat and drink when it`s hungry ..you don`t know how lucky you are , that your baby sleeps
all night my 3 boys didn`t sleep through the night, till they were
2-3 years old. [teens now]
